This is fruity....not something I typically like to drink. Kind of tart cherry....almost similar to Lambic. Not something I'm into. Gave it a shot.

Nice blend of hops and caramel malts.

Superb. Belgian at heart but with spicy undertones. Dark in color. Perfectly sweet.

Excellent. On the lighter side.

Great fruity with the typical florally Belgian style yest nose, slightly rocky head, low alcohol bite for 9 point,

Full flavor with a bit of an alcohol bite. Flavored like a beer with an even higher alcohol content.

2009 keg tapped for us at Thanksgiving. Delicious & evil, not necessarily in that order.

My 4 star rating is not for the bottled Trois Pistoles, but for draft tapped from a 2008 keg. Had a caramel/chocolate bouquet & flavor undertone, but also a subtle smokiness. Malt taste more subtle than the bottled one, with no fruity aspect.
