Roasty, slightly chocolatey, and a hint of smoke once it warms up. Delicious. Bold!

28APR15, Liquor Barn Springhurst, Louisville, KY
Draft, 2oz plastic cup
Pours blank with dark tan head. Smells incredibly silky and vanilla and molasses and delicious. Tastes the same. It's really tasty, but at 16.9%, 1 is probably enough.

I have one currently aging and then decided to by it for $20 at the local pub. HOLY HOT DAMN its good!! Velvety smooth with a lot of bourbon at the end. Reminds me of Dogfish Head World Wide Stout also 17%abv. Call it a Meal in a bottle.

Pulled out of the fridge, gave it a 3.5... smoother once it warms up, bumped up to a 4...definite booziness, but relatively smooth, with a heavy roasted flavor

Another great beer by Avery ....huge abv and no bite.. Smokey, chocolate taste, fucking epic... Can't taste the abv at all actually scary cuz I could drink this all night... Almost as good as Mephistopheles stout..4.5 stars

Very strong. Like taking a shot of vodka with my stout. Will put hair on your chest.

Amazing beer. Rich, chocolatey, sweet, roasted aromas. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Bitter, sweet, chocolate, dark fruit, black cherry flavors.
