Agree with ncompton... very smooth and very satisfying brew..you won't drink it fast because you want savor the taste

20MAY13, Apt 22oz, beveled pint Pours a dark brown, opaque. Almost no head, just a ring around the edge. Huge caramel molasses malt on the nose; the alcohol is definitely prevalent. Very good, but the alcohol definitely adds a tart bite. Some good vanilla on the nose which creeps through to the flavor. Barrel aged. 94 on ratebeer. It's an old ale. Very good. Some fig and raisin, too.
