Light taste, not full; some wine, crisp lightness; good

Very crisp goes well with a hearty meal

2010 vintage pours opaque copper body topped by thin white head. Vinous fruity estert notes highlight nose & taste. Smooth light mouthfeel.

2012, good brew but wish there was a little more tartness to balance the sweetness from the grapes

Not what I expected compared to the Victoria ale. Pleasant aroma but not very robust which is in line with the taste. Not a lot of flavor as I hoped for. Kind of feel like I am drinking the Bud Light of Belgian ales. Still a good drinking ale for any pallet .

2012 (current year): tartness much more upfront, pretty sour, very different from the '11. a little more nose. raisiny.

2011 (1 year age): high alcohol, but hidden pretty well. a litttle bit of a bite/tartness on the sides of your tongue, a bit of a raisiny/wine flavor. not a lot of aroma.
