 Brianw - June 5, 2019
Brianw - June 5, 2019This is a really nice imperial porter. No bitterness to speak of, smooth and mouthy drink. The coffee flavor comes through nicely and the vanilla finishes it of with a nice sweet flavor. This is a well made porter that is a pleasure to drink. This is one to just sit down and enjoy. For me a solid 4-1/2 star beer.

Trevor Vandela - September 29, 2018The five previous reviews are all over the place. Some say strong coffee and others strong vanilla. Flavor seems to vary per person. I felt the coffee was not that strong and the vanilla was long lasting. Great head on the beer with a smell of vanilla. I really enjoy this beer. If you like vanilla and coffee, you will love it.

james48gessner@gmail.com - January 5, 2018Pours opaque dark chocolate brown with no head. Sweet chocolate aroma. Bitter chocolate flavor with hints of coffee.

mellowman - October 21, 2017Excellent porter. The coffee flavor with the slight vanilla sweetness blends to give some chocolate sensation. This does not overpower the malty beer however. 20Oct17

jph368 - January 28, 2017Roasted coffee hits you first with a sweet vanilla edge that lingers in the background. Nicely done

 bockboy@att.net - January 14, 2017
bockboy@att.net - January 14, 2017B. Strong roasted coffee flavor and milder vanilla. As it warms some aroma is noticeable. Good beer, but not a Porter, too roasty. This beer at about a year or two old, still held it?s flavors well.
