Man, that's good! Pours a copper-amber with no head. No carbonation. Smells fruity, like peach, strawberry and cherry. You can also smell the alcohol, like a strong margarita. Taste is of a very sweet floral flavor that is cut short by a warming alcohol burn which is tempered by a light honey sweetness. It's light. It's tasty. It's sweet. It's warming. It gives you a great, quick buzz. Great mead!

High alcohol content equaled high alcohol flavor. Still had a great taste though!

Quite surprised at this. Had a one once glass and from the smell to have an alcohol burn but was surprised to have a sweet shot. Almost schnapps like. To easy to drink for the alcohol content.

Very interesting and unique. Sweet initially the strong hibiscus at the end

As I think is the case with Meads, each one is unique. Vikings Blod is extremely sweet - good - but holy shit! It's supposed to be that way for this Mead. If you buy a bottle (at nearly $30), you might want to split it with someone. Albeit the price, sweetness, or quantity, you'll want a wingman. You'll be zonked out in no time :)
