mrd775 - January 6, 2013Enjoyable...not outstanding. The flavor is a little flat and lacks the depth I was hoping for. The high ABV is not overly apparent making it pretty drinkable. There is a coffee-ish bitterness in the aftertaste. I've had far worse stouts than this.

TrevorT - February 16, 2012Ok stout. The appearance is a blackish brown with a small peanut brown head; not the "creamy" head promised by the bottle. Aroma is a nutty, coffee with a malted barley finish. The overall taste is a strong coffee creaminess with an ok balance of nuttiness and roasted cereals. 2 of 5 stars.
