hefewiseguy - February 22, 2013I hate to say this, but this beer smells like an electrical fire. However, the taste is a bit more inviting. It's sweet and mapley, but the smoke flavor needs toning down. I'll give it a 2.5/5
csvetcov - February 21, 2013Novelty beer that struck up conversation and was nice to share with family but the smokey bacon taste made it so that I couldn't drink more then half a glass.

wmillhouse - February 5, 2013Enjoyed this ale with blueberry eggos and cherry glazed ham. Wonderful smoky taste, reminiscent of darker ales. Salty bacon and sweet maple tastes hit every now and then. Cherry wood smoked malt is a heavy part of the flavor. Nice thick head out of bottle, hardly any lacing until near the bottom of the glass. Bitter aftertaste, but full of flavor
