Honestly? Meh. This beer has no reason to exist. Doesn't do anything well except live down to Waterloo's penchant for making boring beers. C'mon guys! Light a fire will ya!

As far as American IPAs go, this beer is not very good. Where are the hops?!?

This beer has a strong alcohol taste; despite not being overly high alcohol content. This surprised me and to be honest, I wasn't pleased. I didn't enjoy my first tasting as a result and couldn't even finish the glass. On my second tasting the alcohol taste was still overly present; however, I had paired this beer with a meal and I enjoyed it much more this time. On it's own, I found this beer to also be overly bitter and could not enjoy the flavours. Paired with a meal creates a nice balance which toned down the bitterness and alcohol taste and made this beer more enjoyable.
