Drinking this and thinking of it as a Bavarian Hef and its easily the best I have ever had. The ABV is higher than can fairly be attributed, but this eliminates my need for any other Hef. That being said, I don't know enough the Weizenbock style to rank it as it is. Either way, fantastic banana flavor floating over just a zing of tart citrus and wheat, with a perfect clove finish.

Brew this! Waaaaay off style, BUT the beer is unbelievable! Dry, great banana clove balance, beautiful malt balance to alcohol. Mmmmmmmmmm so good!

Banana, cider, and maybe some cloves. Not bad, but not my favorite weizenbock.

Very fruity and good beer. The smell is great and is a good beer. I'd say initial impression was apple but the end taste is banana.

Smells like cider, taste like a beer and cider mix. High carbonation.
If you like cider drinks, you will like this.

Spicy, cinnamon quality. Nice mix of hops and malt, tends to be more sweet.
Another amazing beer (in an awesome goblet)

A great weizen bock/ hefe lots if sweet banana flavor, almost has a bubbleyummish note , not bad , would be great on a hot summers day

A lot of banana. More than I've ever tasted. Really on a level playing field with all the other weistaphaners
