There might be a decent beer lurking in this disastrously flavoured abomination, but who knows?

I?m disappointed. It just isn?t very good. Smell is better than taste. Won?t buy again.

I have been fond of referring to beer and ale as liquid bread (same recipe) since I read it in Michael Bostwick?s History of The World according to Beer (Recommended!). This would be a fine desert beer if they also brewed it with pecans. Banana Nut Beer. Yeah that?s the ticket. As it is, it was a one and done experience.

Ideal serving size of this beer would be four ounces. After a few sips, you get it and need to move on. This beer has a weak base, bland, lager-like with less than medium body and greater than average fizz. So when you enter ounces 5 - 10, you have already experienced the banana bread gimmick, which to the beers credit is an unmistakable presence, and, bored with it already, you are just forcing it down.

Wow the aroma alone tastes of banana bread. Slightly auburn golden color with slightly tan head. God I remember when I used to say bear was liquid bead well this is!!!

Wired but not bad. Actually a little watery, but the banana flavor works pretty well. This beer confuses me...

A comfortable sipping "reminder of my grandmother" beer. Light, not as robust as I hoped. Still delightful.

Does what it says on the bottle - tastes like banana bread (or banana loaf as us Scots call it). It is great with a buttered slice of banana load.
