Mild on the bourbon taste, low % for a bourbon barrel and u can tell when u drink it. Not worth the price!

Very good flavor. Same quality as Allagash Cureaux but cost less

Not as heavy as a Guinness

Nice blend of chocolate with hints of bourbon. I like it!

It's smooth but lacking flavor. It seems the Brewers didn't let the beer stay in the barrels long enough and skimped on the coffee and chocolate

Excellent flavor!! Lite and smoothe!

Looks great. Ebony color with a clinging tan head. Decent oak aroma. Initially it has a huge chocolate taste follow by oak tannins and light vanilla. There is also a faint taste of Wild Turkey. Unfortunately as it warms it loses the chocolate and bourbon flavors. It also feels pretty thin and watery for a stout.

Dark, rich, sweet....the greatest beer I have ever had...LITTERALLY.

Aged for three months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels, this luxurious stout has a deep ebony hue and a beautiful mahogany head. The woody, vanilla-like notes imparted by the barrels mingle with aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, and espresso and envelop the rich chocolate and roasted barley flavors with a fine bourbon character. The exclusive partnership with Wild Turkey gives Anderson Valley a world class, consistent source of barrelage, allowing our brewers to explore new frontiers in barrel-aged craft beer. POURED IN A TULIP!
