Disappointing. Love Weyerbacher brewery but this beer was a let-down. Nice dark color, but the flavor was just not there

Good dark ale. Not too hoppy but still flavorful.

Pretty beer with no real character or flavor.

Average. Nothing special but also not terrible. Just a middle of the line sipper.

I bought this based upon the reputation of Weyerbacher brewery. I then read a couple of reviews prior to having one which all claimed how mediocre it was. In my honest opinion I expected better from this brewery, no ones perfect but I feel like I'm drinking a miller lite (I know that's a low blow) there's no real flavor to it, scent is a little robust but that's about it. Sorry I give this beer 1 1/2 stars.

Pours black with creme color head, head retention minimal, starts with a slight roasted malt flavor, smooth dry finish.

Pretty average beer from a strong brewery. I paid 14 dollars which was a rip off in hindsight.
