Imperial ESB, whatever that means. A nice surprise. Little carbonation. Deep red, almost mahogany color. Rich malt nose, alcohol ties to come through. Flavor follows the nose. Rich caramel. Hops are not noticed much. A bit spicy. Warm alcohol dominates the finish. Not overly complex, but bold and enjoyable.

Pleasantly hopped. Dark brown in color. Mildly spiced. Well balanced for the alcohol content.
