Dark color with a malty taste and a slightly sweet finish

Very good. Not coffee like. More chocolate. Very nice sipper

Smooth taste with very little aftertaste. Little to no bitterness. Chocolatey sweetness without overpowering the beer. Lightly carbonated.

Great tasting black ale. Not bitter and pretty smooth. A good amount of carbonation for such a dark brew.

Ok if nothing else is available

Dark brown with a reddish tinge and a beige head that leaves a thin rim of lace. Poured into my New Belgium Globe glass. Chocolate aroma with coffee notes. Malty flavors start with sweetness and lead to a dry chocolate finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A very enjoyable brew that I would have again.
