Nice doppelbock... Malty and caramel notes, but I agree with the last post, it was a little " thin" in terms of doppelbocks.. However very drinkable and maybe a session doppel.. Very tasty..3.5 stars

Great smooth beer. Malty, carmel, and hint of smokey flavor. Awesome bock will get again.

Smooth, dark, carmel malt with lots of flavor. Spaten Optimator on tap is my standard for dopplebocks and this one holds up.

Overall another great beer from Colorado gives brewed in the Rockies a whole new perspective. Great malt molasses taste.
