This is a very good beer. Smooth and balanced flavor. The "bourbon" taste is very subtle and not overpowering like in some brews of this ilk. Cloudy blonde tripel....with a twist. Even the alcohol is balanced nicely...there is a big kick but it doesn't overwhelm the taste

Very tasty Belgian tripel. Yeasty, spicy and warming. No very much bourbon flavor, although I aged it several months. Well balanced with good hops. Worth trying once.
Note: had it a second time this past summer. Aged longer, let it warm a little before enjoying. Totally better. Bourbon sweetness and alcohol comes through better and made it a lot better

You can taste the barrel. Which to me gives, like a good wine, an oaky buttery taste! Great color no clarity.

You can taste the bourbon in this bad boy. Smooth vanilla malty taste though. Delicious but I wouldn't say it's worth the price.
