Great taste! Strong and thick with no bad after taste.

My absolute favorite beer. Very black color with intense rich flavor. Thick creamy head with chocolate, toffee & coffee flavors. A very smooth well balanced beer. Lightly carbonated making it more like tap beer.

A little strong on the "alchole" taste. Dark but not thick going down. Not carbenated in tast at all and is very understated in the spice department. Not bad but not a keeper.

Great porter by a great brewer.

Aroma is chocolate. The appearance is dark, dark brown with a thick creamy head. It’s everything the label said it would be. Has an excellent strong flavor. I would recommend this beer to a friend.

It pours like a flat coke; not much of a head and very dark. It has a faint fruity aroma and is a very flavorful drink. The taste hangs around for some time after drinking. It was easy to finish but probably not something I would drink on a regular basis. Anchor is now 3/3 for making solid drinks in their category, even if I do not care for the style.

Dark caramel and chocolate hit the nose. Subtle tobacco sweetness behind more dark chocolate and espresso, with a frothy head that lasts to the bitter-sweet end. Excellent beer at room temp!

Great look, sweeter but balanced by solid carbonization. very complex with a myriad of tastes. Much coffee and chocolate
