Ok. Not my first choice.

Beautiful orange golden color; no head; malty nose with a hint of metallic smell, not in a bad way. Nice mouthfeel, good body; slightly sweet with hint of nuttiness. A superb ale, it defines what a good ale should be.

Kind of dark but not as dark as Guinness.

A darker looking and tasting version of Boddingtons.

Amazing with whiskey on the side. Has a sweeter taste.

Skunky odor - slight bitter taste- no harsh aftertaste - I poured out of a bottle and the foam never dissipated- would pair with smoked meats
