Tough to get through... Like the idea of a double red, and have like the few others I have tried, but not this one.

Pours a dark red with ruby highlights. Thin light brown head, while the head is thin the it has a strong retention. The aroma has thick maltiness with notes of vanilla. Caramel, and toffee in the forefront, with an alcohol undertone, followed a strong piney hop finish. Medium bodied with a smooth silky texture.
