Just a TAD on the sweet side, but a very enjoyable holiday ale.

Good. Not too dark or rich

Copper color. Thick foamy head, nutmeg taste. Strong for a Christmas ale but good.

First smells northwest hoppy. Then boozy malty comes through. Medium upfront bodied. Mildly complex. Finishes full and even. Good for Christmas.

HUGE white foamy head and a rich amber color. The first tasting made me thing it had a Belgian Ale lineage but everyone has it listed as a Scotch Ale. Either way it was pretty tasty and reminded me of Anchor's Christmas.
