Fantastic! My personal favorite ancient ale.

Nose is deceiving compared to the bold but eclectic mouthfeel of honey, exotic fruit and fermented grape. Overall a very enjoyable notch above your typical session beer.

Rich rusty golden color with a cream white head, great carbonation. Aroma of honey and white grape, like the description, similar to mead. Taste matches nose, heavy hits of orange blossom honey with raisiny white grape undertone. Dry finish. Like carbonated need with a twist. A great fruit/spice ale with a cool story, conservative beer drinkers beware!

A more subtly spiced Dogfish Head brew than their Midas, with a lighter feel on the tongue.

Too sweet. Not my favorite of the ancient series.
