Good pale ale, not what I'd call a winter ale; good hoppiness, spice and citrus, bite

Very hoppy to the point of bitterness
PoppaSchiff - February 19, 2014
Hoppy finish, smooth start, light but heavy -- nectar of the gods
MrChileHead - December 21, 2013
Not bad one of the better winter warmer type ales

Pours murky orange color with a thin white head. Appears to be unfiltered. Very slightly hoppy aroma. Fairly light body with only a little malt flavor. Spices not evident but citrus hops very prominent. Refreshing with a bitter aftertaste. Seems much more like an IPA than a winter warmer.

Very tasty. A little bite. Try it.

Eh, it's okay. Very bitter, can't really detect hop flavors. Somewhat boozy flavor and warming feeling. Seems like it has a spicy side to it but I can't quite determine what flavors are coming through. Overall very bitter and warming, boozy flavor would be the best way I could describe this. I don't see a need to try it again.

Got a growler of this one at the brewery, light on the winter spices, good bitterness if you like that.

A great alternative to he thick, dark winter beers. While I love those, it is fun to mix it up with a lighter, hoppy ale with mild winter spices

Nice hoppy-ness
