Good toasted malt front and bitter hops end

I actually enjoyed this beer more than I thought I would. Not the best ESB I've had, but I would drink again. Decent bitterness but lacks body.

None distinct ESB. Color is cloudy yellow copper with a white frothy head. The nose hits are loaded with the 4 types of hops and a fresh yeast. The taste is bitter with a bit of spice, but not as defined as I'd like. 2 of 5 stars.

Nice. Just bitter enough but not enough underlying flavors

A good but not great beer. Lacks the strong bitter bite of other ESBs but the familiar sweetness rings true in this brew. The label is right in that it's not for the light beer drinker but beer snobs will probably move on after a few pints.
