Strong alcohol taste. Different, but not bad.

Like being slapped in the head with a malted bag of raisins. Yum.

Nice light brown with excellent clarity. Very small head. It was poured at a way too cold temperature so I waited. Crisp aroma. Some typical fruity Belgian aromas. Tastes like it smells. Mild grape flavor comes as well as the drying effect from the addition of sugars. Nice medium mouthfeel leaves a drying delicious aftertaste. I keep going back for more.

Good beer. Nice and stout.

Plums, malt, yeast, and grapes are evident. The aftertaste moved to a woody grape flavor. Not a bad beer, pretty unique for the style.

Strong grape like flavor, almost like wine.

Woody, oaky, hints of fresh fruit (grape, berries). Very malty, but with a hoppy tang. Better somewhat chilled.
