Nice head and nice lacing. Can taste the bourbon. Detecting definite sweetness. Boozy but nice. Not sure it is worth the price though. Did not notice the high alcohol content until it hit me later. Trying it again three and a half years later. I do need to raise my rating another half star. Perhaps I was put off by the high price before. The taste is exceptional

Good Quad with a nice smooth Bourbon taste with hint of cherries. Is a little too carbonated though.

This is in my top 5 list of all time beers! I love to age this one. Find that 3-4 years is the sweet spot. I've got a 2011 (it's now sept 2017) and look forward to enjoying it with a good cigar this coming winter. If you have the space and patience, you will be rewarded by aging this for at least 3 years. I will add that I am extremely disappointed that Boulevard no longer sells this in the 22 oz bomber. This makes aging much more difficult

It's far and few in between were I actual taste those added notes featured on the bottle. Yup, I can taste the cherries and it really enhances the bourbon notes of this beer. Man, this ale is great. I really like this beer. It's freaking good. Yup, I'll take another. :)

2015 edition. Excellent quad. Strong, balanced, warm and boozy. Lovely sipping beer.
