Robust porter infused with Salvadorian coffee and aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Pours dark black in color with a thick dense espresso like brown head that slowly dissipates to a thin ribbon on the beer. Pungent coffee aromas with notes of dark chocolate and a slight bourbon undertone. Medium in body has a silky thick mouthfeel. Starts as a liquid dark chocolate before roasted espresso coffee and spicy bourbon notes rush in to balance the initial sweetness. Enjoyable coffee finish with a slightly boozy hot bourbon flavor. Has some dry dark fruit like raisins and maybe even a hint of vanilla too. A great beer would definitely have again. profile - August 16, 2015
