Not a favorite. Malty and hoppy for my tastes.

Good brew, I had it with my Eggs Benedict. It didn't really jive during the meal but afterward it made a nice wash down and set the tone for a relaxed Sunday of football.

This one even smells delicious!

VERY strong taste. I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Deep roasted malts competes with a molasses based sweetness in a thick body. The 9.9 abv provides a nice high note in the middle range as this brown finishes simply by easing off the throttle than by any distinctive note.

A bit sweet for my usual taste but nicely malty with a hint of bitterness. A little vanilla in there, too

Decieving beer. Vanilla and sweetness combo with IPA like qualities. Malt bone is high. Light amber. Intriguing package in almost 10% box. Try it.

Had freshly on tap at my new favorite bar. Best tasting barleywine style I've had. Loaded with flavor, subtle delicious sweetness, lots of maltiness and even a very well disguised 9.9% ABV. Awesome beer.
