Very sweet initial taste with high alcohol warmth. A great brew to warm up with after being outside.

The best Christmas beer bar none!

Great holiday Belgian. Packs a punch although not boozy so it can be dangerous.

Not too hoppy and packs a punch, it tastes good, not for the price though, thus only 3 stars.

Sweeter than I expected from this style. Supposedly diluted for the states, but still heavy (without being overbearing) Giant eagle market district 12/11/13

Great bubbly carbonation. Very refreshing and silky to drink. Apple cider type of nose. Great toasty deeper color and the hop washes out the over yeasty taste that comes from a Belgium

A: Hazy muddy red amber body topped by a creamy tan head with great lace & retention. S: Fig, dark fruit, toffee & gingerbread aromas. T: Spices blend with warming ethanol presence. Gingerbread and dark fruits emerge as it opens up. M: Smooth, well-carbonated and warm. O: Delicious holiday winter warmer brew.

Just like Maxwell House.....til the last drop! What's not to like? Smooth, delicate fruity notes? I wouldn't have minded a hoppy start/finish, but @ 10 %, who cares? Winner winner chicken dinner! :)

A little on the sweet side for me. It gave me hints of orange and pineapple. I guess I prefer something a little more to the bitter or stout side.
