Nice flavor and not too bitter. Full bodied tasty and clean finish. Almost too bitter, but not quite.

At Oxbow market in Napa & tried it as a beer flight. So good smooth, a tad bitter, but great beer! Since I'm from Texas- I would pair with nachos & tacos

B+. Very malty, not that hoppy for IPA.

Fruity IPA, alcohol shines thru, earthy hops. Bottle, January 2015.

Smells really hoppy. Really great initial taste. You can just taste the crispness of the hops. The only major issue is after that sip, you get a nasty alcoholic aftertaste. Would definitely prefer aroma coma over this since they are the same price

Good IIPA. I gave it 3.5 stars. Bottled 11/2013, consumed 12/10/13. One of the few drakes bottles I've found with a date. Not an overwhelming hop aroma and I can pick up a sweet malt aroma as well. Nicely balanced. Pours golden red. Surprisingly crisp and dry for such a malty beer. I prefer more hop flavor and aroma from such a big beer that I didn't find here. It is certainly good, but I prefer a more hop forward IIPA.

Very nice IIPA. Sweet taste with nice strong hop finish.
