Nice coffee taste. Not too strong. Not too light. Just right. Smooth

Did not retain head very well. Sweet malty nose. Very hoppy. Although the malts balance it out a bit, the bitterness lingers. Not in my top 5 DIPAs.

Its a simple beer. As i drank nothing screamed great. Its a great IPA and will give you a full hop taste. I am more of a belgian ale guy so this was not exactly my way. Overall I'd drink again, but not buy again.

Nutmeg and Clove on the nose along with typical IPA stuff like caramel and pine and light citrus. Burnt raw sugar, a lite cinnamon, orange peel and cardamom on the palette. Agave and light saffron on the finish. Delicious. One of my favorites DIPA s.

Refreshing and crisp for an IPA that is 9%. Great hoppy taste and not very bitter at all.

Silver medal winner 09' Great American Beer Festival. A double IPA big bold beer hoped with an abundant amount of Simcoe & Columbus with a touch of Amarillo & Cascade. Mashed with Munich & Crystal Malt for flavor....and to balance out the hop assault.

True bitter finish with a soft beginning.
