kmattingly - February 4, 2012Very heavy coffee flavor. You like coffee you'll love this! Some roastiness in the finish. Once you get past the coffee it's really a nice beer. Goes well with the chips and salsa I'm having right now.
cclonch - January 31, 2012Pours a very dark brown with an equally dark cream colored head. The nose provides hints of whats to come with rich chocolate and coffee notes. Initially the flavor hits with sweet chocolate that quickly fade into coffee with a final kick of bitterness that reminds one of espresso. Overall this is a great, rich and powerful stout that will stick in your memory for sometime to come!
