Dark smoky winter lager

A really nice winter beer on the dark side

Manly beer! Rich taste, full body and nice finish with a small bite at the end that lingers on the palate.

A clean schwartzbier with a little more roastiness than is traditional. Black color, decent head retention. Aroma has moderate roastiness with some clean lager vegetal notes. Flavor is clean and dry with roasty flavors and a touch of and hop bitterness, which both cary into the finish.

Very hoppy, but can't really taste much else. A good lager, but nothing to write home about.

Not that bad, but not too bitter kinda middle road balanced. Very black can't see through. Has a somewhat slight bitter finish. Very little head.

very good dark lager, not as good as ugly pug or shiner black but better than most.
