Excellent Barrel Aged Stout with heavy chocolate and coffee. Tough hit at 12.4%

Not usually a stout lover but really likes this. Complex tastes and pleasant aftertaste profile - September 14, 2016

This is smooth, stout. Great beer buy again.

2016 12.4% - not bad, soft going down even though has much flavors. Too sweet for my taste, and too much fulfilling.

Honestly was disappointed by it. More coffee notes than I prefer and an overwhelming bourbon flavor. Maybe a bad tap. I'd like to try it again, but my first impression was not great

A little bit bitter but great flavored throughout. The bourbon is actually very subtle compared to most bourbon aged beers like this. Almost a 5 profile - April 24, 2016
Excellent flavor. A hint too bitter to be 5 stars in my book. But great smell and mouth feel.

One if the only coffee products I'll drink. Well-made, but tastes like coffee, sadly. The bourbon helps.

Thin consistent head formation throughout the drink. Black ink/oil appearance. Smells strongly of bourbon, roasted coffee, and black licorice. Medium mouthfeel/body. Anterior mild sweetness with roasted coffee beans and raisin/licorice blend with mild to moderate carbonation. Posterior coffee blends to bourbon and goes done super smooth. Moderate alcoholic finish. Leaves you feeling warm inside. 2016 run, extremely complex beer. In my personal opinion this beer is great and almost lives up to the hype.
