Excellent stout. Coffee, a little bit of chocolate, and hops. Smooth

Mild astringent bitterness from roasted malt but not unpleasant. Def my fav victory beer

Opaque umber. Thick. Malt composition recalls dates, prunes, and chocolate. Fine-grained carbonation. Delicious. A benchmark imperial stout.

Strong flavor of espresso. Balanced coffee bitterness.

A little too bitter for my taste although it might taste better on a hot summer day than in the dead of winter.

A very good beer on a thanksgiving day.

Good imperial stout. The pour is a vary dark, close to black, brown with a thick, smooth, low lace head. The aroma is a dark coffee with a nice hoppiness and a bit of a char grilled meat smell. The taste is a bold malted barley with a coffee notes and a nice full hops bitterness. 3.5 of 5 stars.

High alc but good taste

Disappointly bitter/harsh finish.
