In the glass it looks like a rum and coke. Smells like wet wood. Taste like wet wood, tobacco and caramel. Interesting and it actually kind of works. Thin, with a light carbonation. A nice surprise for me.

Very toasty malt, a little sweet for my taste.

More lively and interesting than a mass produced beer should be. Very refreshing. If one knock a tad sweet.

For a 7.2 abv beer, this one comes off a bit watery for a dopplebock. Hints of licorice and prunes. Nothing I'm too excited about but very sip-able with a meal.

A nice Italian amber. Not bitter.

Real smooth and wine like, not sure maybe just me but overall really enjoyed it's unique flavor.

Not what I expected. I drank it at a macaroni grill which also wasn't really what I expected. I had a good night though. This was the start of it. Flavor isn't fantastic but it went well with my chicken and mushroom canalonni or whatever the hell it was profile - January 12, 2014
Warm and malty without being too heavy. Hickory chocolate taste with a little cherry. What the cherry ale should be.

Pours red with Amber head, tastes great, poured into Pilsner and let settle, sat back and enjoyed this beer fully
