Seasonal beer from Abita. I rarely buy Abita because I don’t like their beers. Aroma is sweet with a distinct corn smell. I can smell some malt but it isn’t overpowering. Nothing like the Maibock I made or Rogue or the Munich Dunkel I have on tap now. Color is nice and clear copper color. I can taste the malt but it isn’t much. I taste corn more than anything else which is a DMS off flavor. It is very light so I wonder if they brewed with corn to lighten the body.
It’s not terrible but I’ve had better and I would definitely prefer a real bock. I think they brewed this for people who want some malt but want to be able to drink a lot of them.

It's a little bland for a bock. With the recommendation I was hoping for a little better Brew.
