Appearance is a deep pecan like color poured into a chilled mug. The head stuck around for awhile and clung to the side of the glass as I guzzled it down. It has a fresh flavor with a hint of spice. Overall impression is it’s much better the second time around.

TO ANY INEXPERIENCED DRINKERS BE WARNED: DO NOT CHUG THIS BEER!! this beer taste great and deserves to be sipped. If u disrespect this beer, it will fight back hard and fuck u up bad, this ain't no bud light ur chugging. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

Sometimes this beer tastes rusty to me with sour notes - but I often like it.

Very smooth and my personal favorite

It was the first brown ale i tried and I still love it to this day, the flavor has changed a bit since then... Might just be me but I know other people who say the same... and there are some better ones out there but it's still great in my opinion. Refreshing, smooth, nutty, and easy to loose count of how many you've had.

Very hoppy but the oakey aftertaste will keep you coming back ... I enjoy Newcastle in a draft , the most.

A great tasting ale with no bitter after taste. Enjoyable to the last swig. My only complaint is the clear bottle privy of lesser quality beers.

For some reason it is a heavy beer for me and I am not a fan of the after taste
