Deep dark brown with a nice tan head of some retention and quickly receding lace. Nose is of coffee and chocolate, with a touch of smokiness and woody notes. Taste is lightly sweet up front with some cocoa, before a dry espresso finish with a faint lingering sourness. Body is medium full, with a fair carbonation, and yet a chewy creaminess that tempers the effervescence. A stellar stout, at 6.4%, that is almost imperial stout good without the ABV!

The rating refers to nitro tap which is outstanding, regularly found at Baker St. Bottle version is less noteworthy.

Very good, but doesn't stand out amongst stouts. Very smooth when on tap.

Somewhat creamy/smooth with a good head. Light to medium body and not too heavy.

Chocolate with a great head (on nitro). Full body but bitterness sits a little long.
