Surprisingly good and smooth. Tastes like coffee and chocolate but very light and malty as well.

Hint of sweetness upfront bitter dry finish, decent beer. Probably wouldn't buy again

Lighter version of Killians Red

Copper aftertaste which is common for a red ale. Nothing special here but I am not an expert on red ales. If I am in the mood for a red I would give it another try.

Full bodied and hoppy.

Okay as far "red" beers go. Clean and pairs well with tavern menus, but not exactly with the up charge of an import.

Ruby brown color. Lively pour with a fast dying head. Hint of burnt caramel in the nose. Burnt caramel up front with a balanced body and a dry bitter finish. Good flavor overall but not earth shattering.
