Fig/raisin/dark fruit aroma...thinner mouthfeel than most of the style, sweetness is balanced in just the right amount to coexist with the alcohol forward taste. Easiest drinking barleywine I've had despite 15% abv, my personal favorite of the style so far. Would age perfectly as well.

2008. Lots of alcohol

Aged since 2007 and is 2012. Def the best beer of the night, can't beleive is 15% but yet so smooth, drop the cash on it, is worth it!

My fav dfh beer. Divine after aging. I had a 7 year old vintage once. So good. Alcohol heat subsided with pitted fruit flavors

Massively sweet caramel/molasses flavor. Not a barley wine for the faint of heart.

Doesn't get much better than this for barley wine drinkers.

Strong, barley, syrupy

(room temp) Less sweet than a 120 DFH, balanced bittering. Still has an overpowering alcohol flavor.

Amazing! Aged for a year and was perfect for sipping

Fantastic sipper! I Gave it a 3.5 but with a year of hibernation it could be a 5 star brew
