Like a nut brown and a chocolate stout got married. Not my go-to beer style but quite unique and tasty. (Kuma's Korner, Chicago, Sept 2012)

Dark flavor that is pretty smooth overall. Would be fine enough to get again.

Malty, amber, chocolate, sweet nose and tip of tongue. Nice smooth beer, body not too thick.

June 2012. 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Nice malty flavor, with just a hint of booziness. Sweet aroma. Overall a nice experience. Lighter than Founders Dirty Bastard; leading to a similiar yet different profile, and which leaves room for me to enjoy both versions depending on mood. Overall a pretty good beer and one I would try again, although likely won't seek out.

Deep, dark, and luscious as Scotland itself. Rich and malty, a beer that lets you know it's there like a comfy blanket. Love it!

Really nice flavor with a chocolate aftertaste. Not to fond of the after taste, but still a good beer.
