Mapwhap - February 24, 2013Perhaps it's me, but when I read "Winter Ale" on a bottle, I expect something spicy and warming. A Black IPA was not what I had in mind, nor was it indicated on the bottle AT ALL. That aside, this just came across like a weak porter to me. Not my cup of tea.
bamajfs - February 12, 2013Black with a thick head like a Guinness, but tastes like an IPA. Bitter, in a good way. More carbonation than I expected.
vishious - February 11, 2013Dark brown with tan head. Hoppy aroma that hits your nose right before your tongue. The caramel malts come through a bit but not as much as the look of this beer would suggest. Tasty.
