While the chipotle is pleasantly mild it does leave a slight burn. One I'm not looking for in a beer. This was on cask. The porter flavor is more mild than I would expect from Stone.

Smokey, peppery aroma. Chipotle taste is present, but not overwhelming. Balanced flavor with long pepper aftertaste.

Decent nose. Get a little smoke on the nose. Good smooth porter taste with not much added in regards to any pepper or smokiness. Get a little spice aftertaste but a little disappointing overall. Expected more......

Pours a standard dark Color, nothing special for a porter. Nose picks up a bit of smoke, but I really had to search for the Chipotle heat. Taste was nothing special for a porter, thick body with a small amount of heat at the end. More peppery than anything, really hits you at the back of the throat. Would recommend this if you're looking for an intro to porters, otherwise, don't bother.
