On tap, Stout Brothers

Too much malt for me but overall very good

It poured darker than expected. It's good, rich, and complex. Unfortunately, I do not care for the Amarillo hops. They have a distinct flavor that it not my favorite, and the worsen as they warm. The redemption is in the malts, and in the other parts of the hop profile, as well as the boozy finish.

SO MANY THINGS HAPPENING HERE.

Citrusy, hoppy, yet light. Easy to drink. Possibly my favorite black IPA.

Pours jet black with about a finger of light tan head. Smells complex- hops, molasses, toast, toffee, roasty. Tastes like a more intense version of the smell, realllyyy good! Nice medium body that finishes dry.

Good piney hops. Too bitter for my taste.

Very strong and good taste. A little too much of a hint of Carmel for me, but a nice bitter IPA after taste

Very hoppy and bitter yet sweet. Very unique taste that takes a specific pallet to drink, not for me.

A: black like stout, little caramel head, good lacing and legs. S: more hoppy than expected, slight coffee. T: piny hops, little grapefruit, nutty earthy notes. MF: medium, with medium carbonation. O: very good.
