The cherry aftertaste is a perfect compliment to the higher ABV.

Like a light ipa

Tough one. Harsh. Sour cherries is an accurate description. Wish this one was better.

Very complex

A dry, bitter fruitiness. What I imagine "brewed in the brandywine style" would taste like.

Nice, with a fruity bitterness.

Heavy fruit notes - sour cherry and raisins. Shuttle chocolate notes.

APPEARANCE - Dark, opaque, 3-finger head that dissipates, red, amber, foamy. OK lacing. AROMA/SCENT - Hops, malts, yeast, fruit, pine, raisin. TASTE - Hops, malts, sweet, nutty, pine, fruit, brown sugar, raisin, apple. MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Good carbonation, bubbly, light, effervescent, crisp, refreshing. VALUE - $10.99 for an 25 oz. bottle - good buy. OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - Only 2% cherry. Not as fruity as I expected. It's really just a hint of cherry.

Even my nieces who don't like dark beer liked this. It "feels" like wine, I suppose due to the 2% cherries added. Whatever the case, I like it, and so do my family.
