Nice dark taste, not a lot of complexity

Very well balanced dark ale. Improves as it warms a bit. Neither too sweet, too bitter nor too dry. Hides its alcohol.

A really lovely beer, similar to a black ale.

Nice notes of caramel and breadiness. The Monks got the yeast right on this one.

Wow! Much different and better than I was expecting. Dark copper with a huge head than dissipates quickly. Smells of plum, black cherry and caramel. Taste is very similar with a little chocolate and brown sugar. Drinks very light, I think from the large amount of carbonation, but there is some alcohol burn. Really nice beer!

Very carbonated. Nice head that dissipates quickly. Somewhat flat hop caramel aroma. Caramel cookie taste with slight toast. Neutral bittering with sweet raisin notes. A little dry because of alcohol content with quick dissipating after taste. Very drinkable. Light mouth feel with a little warmth. Really nice crafted beer. Harmonized throughout.

Bold and boozy yet drinkable.

Caramel and alcohol aroma with heavy carbonation and a nice head. Smooth caramel taste with lots of CO2 a minor hint of alcohol on the end. Excellent beer.

Great flavor. A tad to much carbonation

Very carbonated and malty. Strong flavor with a lingering aftertaste, but not in a bad way. Not as dark as I expected and definitely a sipping beer. Great for a night at home and a good movie.
