Brown. Tan head that persists. Just a thick brown ale. Deep flavors, lots of malt, complex. Good, but not necessarily my favorite style.

bob_527999@yahoo.com - August 1, 2012Deep caramely, dark chocolaty, toffee malt flavor and bitterness (but not overly thick and stouty), with slight hop balance. Not too sweet either - which I prefer! Not bad as an end of the night beer! Would warm you up in the winter!
pmiller17 - July 29, 2012Can't figure out if it's a deep brown ale or a lighter stout, starts as the former, finishes as the latter. Tastes like the label says, toffee finish, except not very sweet.
