Rance - March 17, 2019Another great beer from Avery. Easy to drink even as high ABV. Great chocolate and coffee notes. It and Tweak are two of the best from Avery.

jph368 - April 1, 2018Very intense, boozy imperial stout. First the bourbon hits you, then you're left with a sweet malty finish. Outstanding

jayvandy - June 30, 2017Very strong chocolate taste with a very strong bourbon hit. A little too harsh for me.

tonyc210@gmail.com - May 16, 2017Way, way, way too sweet. Hard to drink because it is so sweet. I don't understand the hype...

jrsvy4 - September 29, 2016Big flavor. Don't drink on an empty stomach. Impressively smooth for 17.1%

 jjfregistration - March 28, 2016
jjfregistration - March 28, 2016Really heavy Imperial Stout. Pours thick but not in black with a mild cream colored head. Smells like a boozy Imperial Stout. That's appropriate, because that's what it tastes like. Starts with a sharp sweetness, quickly turning to a long and burnt bitterness with an alcohol taste. Seems like the kind of thing you drink if you were looking to forget something quickly.
