Sweet maple and smokey bacon nose, body and flavor match the nose. Light campfire flavor, but not overpowering. Tough to drink more than one.

Not crazy about smoked beers. Sole at the front and smoked bacon taste at the end. Got better as it warmed up.

Mega-maple aroma, smoke/bacon is a little more subtle. Flavor was a little weak compared to the aroma.

Loved it! A fantastic smoked ale with a nice maple twist to it, and just a hint of bacon. Truly unique, and a fun adventure for smoked beer fans!

Very different! But all in all I thought it was a fantastic beer! Loved the strong maple nose and taste off the bat, followed by a subtle smokey bacon flavor at the end! I bought 3 bottles and will be stocking up on more! Cheers

This is a strange one. The maple is very overpowering when you first smell it and the huge amount of sediment is a big turnoff. I agree with most of the comments although I had this with breakfast and I think that is the only thing that saved this beer for me. I rather enjoyed it and it complemented my eggs and potatoes rather well. The price is a bit much 15.99 so I don't think I will be buying it again anytime soon. You should try it at least once... Just for fun

When you sniff it, absolutely overpowering, smells like you walked into IHOP!! But tastes worse, makes you want to throw up!!

Very unique!!!! I've always loved beers that are not the norm, beers that dare to be different. And this is most def one that switches it up! Yes, it may not be the best beer in the world, but variety is the spice of life! Smells like aunt jemimah and tastes like a full on Sunday breakfast! Delicious maple flavour that doesn't overpower the taste of the ale. Hints of unsalted bacon bring the flavours home. This would be perfect to wash down a stack of pancakes with! 4 stars!!!! Give it a try; remember, everything's better with bacon!!
